Your use of the Relief Buddy mobile application, website, and technology platform (collectively, the “Relief Buddy Platform”) owned and operated by Relief Buddy Inc. (“Relief Buddy”, “we” or “us”) is subject to this privacy policy and our Terms of Service (collectively, the “Terms”). By using the Relief Buddy Platform, you are acknowledging that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the Terms. Capitalized terms not defined herein shall assume the meanings ascribed to such terms in the Terms of Service, found at http://www.reliefbuddy.ca/terms-of-service.

1. Updates to Terms

Relief Buddy reserves the right in its sole discretion to revise and update this privacy policy at any time and from time to time, without notice to you. Any and all such amendments are effective immediately upon posting on the Relief Buddy website and apply to your access to and continued use of the Relief Buddy Platform. By continuing to use the Relief Buddy Platform after an amendment is posted, you accept and agree, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by this policy, as amended. You agree to review this policy periodically in order to be aware of amendments and you understand that the most recent version of this policy will be located on the Relief Buddy website.

2. Collection of Personal Information

We may collect and store information from you in connection with the Relief Buddy Platform, including certain personal and non-personal information. You are deemed to consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information and non- personal information for the purposes described in this privacy policy. We will not collect, use or disclose your Personal Information except as described in this privacy policy.

Personal information is information that refers to an individual specifically and is recorded in any form. Personal information we may collect from you (“Personal Information”) includes your name, age, gender, phone number, email address, residential and/or business address, college licence number, province of licensure, and any other personally identifiable information required to provide the Relief Buddy Platform.

3. Use of Personal Information

We may use the Personal Information for the following purposes: (i) to operate and administer the Relief Buddy Platform and our business; (ii) to enable your use of the Relief Buddy Platform and to personalize the Relief Buddy Platform for you; (iii) to communicate with you in connection with your use of the Relief Buddy Platform and generally; (iv) to detect, prevent and address technical issues, fraud or error; (v) to verify compliance with the Terms; (vi) to comply with legal and governmental requirements; (vii) to derive and create anonymous, aggregated statistical and usage information regarding the Relief Buddy Platform (viii) to fulfill any other purpose that would be reasonably apparent to the average person in connection with the collection of the Personal Information at the time of its collection by us.

4. Disclosure of Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with other users of the Relief Buddy Platform when you voluntarily disclose such information on the Relief Buddy Platform. For example, if you are a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician, we disclose your Personal Information to Pharmacies using the Relief Buddy Platform when you respond to their postings for Relief Shifts through the Relief Buddy Platform. Conversely, if you are a Pharmacy, we disclose your Personal Information (if provided in your profile or posting) to Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians using the Relief Buddy Platform when you post Relief Shifts on the Relief Buddy Platform. Please be careful to share only Personal Information that you are comfortable sharing publicly on the Relief Buddy Platform as we cannot control what other users may do with your Personal Information once you share it.

In addition, we may disclose Personal Information (i) in connection with any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings; (ii) where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person; (iii) to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including all of our rights under the Terms); (iv) as otherwise required by law; or

(v) to a purchaser (or prospective purchaser) of any business or asset that we are (or are contemplating) selling, in which case you acknowledge that your Personal Information may be among the assets transferred and such transfers are hereby permitted.

5. Non-Personal Information

We may also collect certain non-personal information from you. Examples of non- personal information we may collect from you include the number and frequency of use of the Relief Buddy Platform, device information, location data, and other anonymous information relating to your use and interaction with the Relief Buddy Platform. We may use and disclose non-personal information to perform statistical analyses of user behaviour and characteristics, to measure interest in and use of the Relief Buddy Platform, to improve design and navigation of the Relief Buddy Platform, and to gather marketing information.

6. Cookies

Relief Buddy may use “cookies” to customize the content and offerings on our website, accessible at reliefbuddy.ca (the “Website”) and to help you navigate the Website. If you choose to provide information to us through the Website, this information may be linked to the data stored in the cookies. You may configure your mobile device or browser to accept or reject cookies.

7. Storage

Personal Information may be stored locally on your mobile device and may be transmitted across our servers in Canada. The transmission of information over wireless and wired networks is not inherently secure. We encrypt data transmitted through the Relief Buddy Platform using SSL technology to help protect the Personal Information. The only Relief Buddy representatives, agents or employees allowed to access Personal Information are those who are authorized by Relief Buddy to do so and/or access such Personal Information in order to ensure that shift postings placed through the Relief Buddy Platform are transmitted from a Pharmacy to a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician.
